Camp Galileo Week 2

Week 2 went by really quickly because I got into a routine for my choice lunch schedule. This week has been really hard for driving though. The drive from my house to the school takes about 30 minutes but that’s without traffic. With traffic in the mornings, it can take up to an hour to get to San Carlos. I’m usually really sleepy in the morning too. On the bright side, I now know how to drive to a lot of new parts of the bay area without GPS. Overall I have learned to deal with transportation and even made a big playlist so I don’t get too sleepy. In regarding actual camp, I believe I am finally switching out of the lunch position for next week into either “breaker” or Office aid. I am both relieved and nervous because lunch was a comfortable spot where we just packed lunches and we usually finished with time to spare so we could do other small extra things. It’s also where I got to know a couple of co-workers more as we conversed and packed. We also as a whole staff team, started to bond through mini-games and a altered version of secret santa: secret chicken.
